Shipping & Arrival
Every dragon that leaves Big Sky Dragons is treated like the animal it is: a living creature entrusted to our care until the moment it reaches your hands. We do not cut corners on shipping, and we do not rush the process.
Shipping dates are scheduled around safe temperature and weather conditions at both origin and destination. If conditions are not safe for travel, we will hold the shipment rather than place a dragon at risk, and we will work with you to find the next safe window.
Each dragon travels in a climate-controlled, insulated shipping container, packed with heat or cold packs as conditions require and cushioned for a calm, quiet ride. We ship overnight through carriers experienced in live animal transport. To minimize transit stress and temperature exposure, shipments are typically routed for pickup at a secure carrier facility near you rather than direct residential delivery.
You will receive tracking information as soon as your dragon ships, along with an estimated arrival window and clear instructions for pickup day. Prompt pickup matters for your dragon’s comfort, so please plan to collect your shipment as soon as it is available and have your camera ready to document its condition right away.
